Course Objectives: Many job seekers possess basic German language skills but encounter limitations when it comes to applying them professionally. Especially in the workplace, specialized vocabulary, situation-appropriate communication, and confident self-presentation are crucial for successful integration. At the same time, uncertainties in the application process, insufficient language practice, and a lack of self-marketing strategies often lead to frustration and a sense of disorientation. The "German for the Workplace" coaching program addresses precisely these issues: In a safe, one-on-one setting, participants receive individualized support to strengthen their language skills for specific professional situations – practical, job-related, and with immediate application. The goal is to promote both the participants' confidence in using the language and their self-efficacy – for example, in customer conversations, team communication, meetings, or even when making phone calls. The focus is on real-life professional situations and the requirements of the respective occupational field. Additionally, participants can receive support, upon request, in creating modern application documents, actively searching for jobs, and preparing for interviews – in person or online. Optionally, targeted preparation for a repeat exam (e.g., telc B1/B2/C1) can be provided. The aim of the program is to reduce language barriers and communication uncertainties, facilitate access to the job market, and open up sustainable prospects for education, training, or employment.
