Before the course:




Absence concept

  • Excused Absences: Absences for important reasons can be recognized to a reasonable extent as follows:
  • Medically certified illness (doctor's certificate of incapacity for work)
  • Change of residence
  • Marriage of the participant/student
  • Serious illness of a spouse or child
  • Childbirth of the spouse
  • Death of a spouse, child, parent, or parent-in-law
  • Attendance at official appointments, in particular with the police or courts
  • Performance of public honorary offices
  • Attending other important personal matters and participation in religious festivals
  • Participation in deployments or training courses within the framework of the Law on the Expansion of Disaster Relief. All other absences are considered unexcused. I am aware that I:
  • must notify the training provider immediately (on the first day, up to one hour after the start of the course) in case of absence, illness, or accident (including during practical phases).
  • must submit the certificate of incapacity for work to the training provider no later than the fourth day after it was issued. (The funding body/client will be informed accordingly by the training provider.)
  • House rules (attendance only)

    Everyone involved in our educational institution should feel comfortable. These house rules apply to the entire premises, buildings, and rooms of the academy. 1. General Rules 1.1 Maintaining order in the teaching environment requires that the academy management and instructors issue instructions when necessary. These instructions must be followed. The managing director and their authorized representatives, such as the head of the academy, hold the right to control access to the premises. 1.2 We all share responsibility for the success of the lessons and the fulfillment of the educational mission. This includes the right for instructors and lecturers to offer justified and objective criticism, suggestions, and requests to participants, as well as from participants to instructors. Participants may address complaints to the academy management. Complaints can also be made anonymously at the entrance. 2. Safety and Order 2.1 Please use the facilities only for educational purposes. 2.2 Please maintain social distancing and behave quietly and respectfully. 2.3 Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the premises. 2.4 Treat academy property with care. 2.5 Keep escape routes clear and close doors behind you. 2.6 Ventilate the rooms regularly and lock them during storms and rain. 2.7 The insurance coverage for each seminar and/or lesson expires upon leaving the premises during course hours; this also applies to the lunch break. 2.8 Weapons, drugs, violence, and harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited! 2.9 First aid kits and fire extinguishers are located directly in the hallway. 3. Lessons and Breaks 3.1 You will be notified of the exact break times, depending on the course. 3.2 Computers and printers may only be used as instructed by the seminar leader. Their careful operation and maintenance ensure their intended use and help prevent accidents. 3.3 The attendance policy, IT training, and fire safety regulations must be observed. You can find this information on the information sheet provided with your registration or directly online at Infopoint 4. Personal Belongings 4.1 Please bring as little money and no valuables as possible to the training academy. If you do need money or valuables for the course, do not leave them unattended in the workshops and seminar rooms. 4.2 Private IT equipment/devices, e.g., laptops, tablets, iPads, iPods, mobile phones belonging to your personal household, are not insured by the training academy during lessons, breaks, and after lessons. 4.3 Lessons must not be disrupted by the use of communication devices (e.g., mobile phones). Out of consideration and respect for the other participants and instructors, the use of these devices is only permitted when absolutely necessary for the lesson. Otherwise, all communication devices must be switched off during lessons. 5. Liability for Damages 5.1 Damage to facilities, teaching materials, and learning materials must be reported to the instructor present immediately. Anyone who causes damage willfully or through gross negligence is personally liable for replacements, repairs, and cleaning! 5.2 The training academy assumes no liability for your personal belongings such as vehicles, tools, learning materials, IT equipment, telephones, or clothing, etc. No financial compensation will be provided for personal belongings. 6. Instructions: The house rules will be announced at the beginning of the course. The house rules are also posted on the bulletin board and are available for all participants to view at any time.
